1. Agreement to these Terms
By visiting our website, requesting a quote, or confirming a ride through phone, WhatsApp, email, or any channel we operate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree, you must not use our services. Where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain unaffected.
2. Definitions
- "FastRide" / "we": the operator of FastRide.com and related booking services.
- "User" / "you": any person or entity using or booking through our services.
- "Passenger": the primary traveller(s) for a booking.
- "Driver-partner": independent driver or operator assigned to perform a trip.
- "Services": arranging ground transportation and related facilitation described on our website or communications.
- "Booking": a confirmed arrangement for a specific trip, subject to these Terms.
- "Platform": our website, messaging channels, call centre workflows, and future digital properties we operate.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. If we offer registered accounts, you agree to provide accurate information, safeguard credentials, and notify us of unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or serious safety concerns.
4. Nature of the platform
FastRide operates as a booking and facilitation platform that connects passengers with third-party driver-partners and fleet suppliers. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific engagement, driver-partners are not employees of FastRide; they are independent contractors or employees of their fleet companies.
We strive to quality-check partners, but the physical performance of the ride is primarily the responsibility of the assigned driver and vehicle owner/operator. Our role includes coordination, customer support, and platform standards.
5. Services offered
Our services may include, without limitation: local and outstation cabs, airport transfers, one-way and round-trip bookings, hourly packages, tempo traveller and group transport, driver-on-hire, car rental facilitation, and corporate programmes. Specific inclusions (vehicle category, fuel policy, chauffeur vs self-drive) are as confirmed at booking.
6. Bookings & confirmation
A booking is not guaranteed until we send you written confirmation (SMS, WhatsApp, email, or documented call summary) with essential details. You are responsible for verifying pickup time, addresses, contact numbers, vehicle category, and special instructions.
Changes & stops
Route changes, extra stops, or time shifts may require a revised fare or vehicle swap and are subject to partner availability. Material downgrades in vehicle class may entitle you to a proportional adjustment as per our refund rules.
7. Pricing, taxes & surcharges
All indicative prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Unless a booking expressly states "all-inclusive", the following may be charged extra at actuals:
- Toll fees, parking, state permits/border taxes, FASTag reconciliations;
- Airport entry/pickup charges where applicable;
- Peak demand or festival surcharges where communicated before confirmation;
- Night allowance or driver night charges for trips spanning 11 PM–5 AM (rates as quoted);
- Waiting time beyond any complimentary grace period;
- Additional kilometres/hours beyond the package purchased;
- Cleaning or damage charges for unreasonable soiling or harm to the vehicle.
Government taxes (e.g. GST) apply as per law and appear on invoices where issued.
8. Payment terms
Payment may be collected by cash, approved digital methods, corporate billing, or as otherwise agreed. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge the agreed amounts. Chargebacks or payment disputes should first be raised with our support team so we can investigate.
For corporate accounts, separate credit and invoicing terms may apply under a written agreement.
9. Cancellation, no-show & refunds
Unless a custom corporate contract states otherwise, our standard policy is:
- Free cancellation up to 6 hours before scheduled pickup for most prepaid or confirmed rides;
- Partial charge for cancellations between 2–6 hours before pickup;
- Full or near-full charge for cancellation under 2 hours, no-show at pickup, or failure to answer reasonable driver contact attempts;
- Refunds for eligible amounts are typically processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment path where technically possible.
Peak dates, special events, or custom routes may carry stricter rules disclosed at booking. Driver-partners who have already commenced deadhead/journey may be compensated per internal fairness rules.
10. Passenger obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and drop information and remain reachable on the phone number provided;
- Be ready at the agreed time and location (or pay waiting charges);
- Treat driver-partners respectfully and comply with seatbelt and local traffic laws;
- Pay all agreed charges and legitimate extras;
- Not request unlawful routes, overloaded seating, or dangerous driving;
- Declare oversized luggage or Hazmat concerns in advance.
11. Acceptable use & prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the Platform, including by: harassing staff or drivers; creating fake bookings; circumventing fares; scraping or attacking our systems; impersonating others; using rides for illegal goods; or violating export/sanctions laws. We may refuse service, involve law enforcement, and pursue remedies for serious breaches.
12. Luggage, pets & special needs
Luggage capacity depends on vehicle class; excess may require a larger vehicle at extra cost. Pets are allowed only where law and the assigned partner agree; carriers may be required. Child seats may be requested subject to availability — specify at booking.
13. Driver-partners & vehicle standards
We expect partners to maintain valid licences, permits, insurance, and roadworthy vehicles, and to follow platform behaviour standards. However, individual partners remain responsible for on-road compliance. Report safety or professionalism concerns promptly with trip references.
14. Safety & emergencies
In an emergency, contact local authorities (police/ambulance) first. Use our support channels for trip coordination. SOS features, if offered, supplement but do not replace emergency services.
15. Limitation of liability & insurance
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from use of our Services;
- Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a given Booking is typically limited to the fare actually paid to FastRide for that Booking (excluding cash paid directly to drivers unless we explicitly instructed otherwise);
- We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, strikes, road closures, regulatory action, or other events outside our reasonable control;
- Passengers should maintain appropriate travel or personal insurance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is void).
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FastRide and its officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, systemic telecom failures, or government orders. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you and rearrange or refund where fair.
18. Intellectual property
All trademarks, logos, branding, software, and content on FastRide.com are owned by FastRide or its licensors. You receive no licence except the limited right to use the Platform for personal or internal business booking purposes. No scraping, framing, or reverse engineering without permission.
19. Reviews & user submissions
If you submit reviews, photos, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, display, and adapt them for quality, marketing, or training (including anonymised learnings) without further compensation, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
20. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breaches, risk signals, or legal requirements. You may stop using us at any time; outstanding payments and prior trips remain governed by these Terms.
21. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For commercial disputes above thresholds we may mutually agree to resolve through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with seat Delhi and English/Hindi proceedings as agreed.
Please contact support before initiating formal proceedings — many issues can be resolved quickly with trip IDs and timestamps.
22. General clauses
- Entire agreement: these Terms and incorporated policies constitute the entire agreement on their subject matter for ordinary bookings unless a separate signed contract applies.
- Severability: invalid provisions are trimmed; the remainder stays effective.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
- Assignment: we may assign our rights to an affiliate or successor; you may not assign without consent.
- Notices: email/SMS/WhatsApp to the addresses you provide constitute effective notice for operational matters.
23. Consumer information
Depending on your jurisdiction within India, you may have additional rights under consumer protection legislation. Nothing here limits those non-waivable rights.
24. Contact & grievance support
Replace placeholder addresses and legal@ mailbox with your organisation’s official details and monitor inboxes regularly for compliance.
